driven bicycle drivetrain

CeramicSpeed’s mad chainless Driven drivetrain now changes gear, and it’s for mountain bikes too Still a concept, but more promising than ever Share on Facebook The company claims that the system is much more efficient than anything else out there, too. Driven is the result of a dream of inventing and developing a 99% efficient drivetrain. At the time, the system's Colorado-based inventors proclaimed that DrivEn was the world's most efficient bicycle drivetrain – when it came to converting pedaling energy into wheel motion, that is. CeramicSpeed’s Driven concept drivetrain grabs attention with its radical looks, and the even more radical claim of better-than-99-percent efficiency. When launching the first version of Driven at the Eurobike show in 2018, we had accomplished that goal.

CeramicSpeed’s DrivEn concept is a truly novel take on what a bicycle drivetrain can be. But the 2018 version of Driven could not be ridden and it could not shift.
