The reason this happens is because my phone's keyboard is attempting to do autocorrect, which works by hitting backspace and retyping each letter after you type the next one. A lot of times when I'd type a letter, it'll get stick and so instead of typing something like "sometimes", I'd end up with "sssssoooomeeeetttimmmes" because the letters would get stuck.
