I've read that the DFR7 has good BSM filtering so I'm not too concerned with that.
Is the DFR7 worth purchasing anymore or should I just wait for availability on the R1/R3? I'm mainly concerned with false alerts from K band. We do a lot of driving on a highway in close proximity to stores. The Uniden R3 has only one front facing antenna. After putting some serious seat time behind the wheel with the new Uniden R1 and Uniden R3 radar detectors, it didn’t take long for me to realize how spectacular these two detectors are. I didn't because the Uniden is missing the arrows :( I'd love to see the R1 or R3 … It also dawned on me, that I have been wrong all of these years. Same as the Escort Max 360 and the Valentine One, the Uniden R7 uses its rear antenna to discover which direction the signal comes from.
