You need some screen capture software to capture the game to a movie file, like FRAPS, so you can create a video file.

Unfortunately, we do not know about any program that can convert dem to mp4 so we cannot provide you with any useful instructions or information. Csgo demo is not a video file and cannot be converted to one.

CSGO watching others .dem files I need some quick advice, I have been making a frag movie featuring my friends and have asked them to send in their .dem files so I can put them in the video, problem is when I place the .dem in the replays folder they dont appear in game and i have no programs that can open the file.
