Both coaching and mentoring are development techniques that utilise the skills of listening, questioning, clarifying and reframing, and share one-to-one conversations as the main interaction technique in order to enhance an individuals’ skills, knowledge or work performance. There are lots of ways to be a good mentor, but there are a few common principles that the best mentors share.
