Nier stands alone from Drakengard. Nier Replicant ver. Drakengard 2 isn't canon to the other Drakengard games because rather than being a continuation of ending A of the first game, it follows a separate timeline where all of the events that lead up to ending A happen, except now No way is born from the seed of destruction.
