Sock Heights. This is an illustration guide to relative sock heights. Men’s socks are not all that different compared to women’s—certainly not in a practical sense. We offer size guides for UK, EU and US shoe and sock sizes. If you have a foot, we should have a sock to fit you. These start at size 12 and range up to 16 or so, depending on the brand. This means that a sock size labeled 9-11 is often not a shoe size, but rather how long your foot is in inches. Our socks are designed to fit snug in order to help prevent bunching or pinching and reduce the risk of blisters. Heights are based on an average across the size range in a style. If your shoe size lies anywhere between 5 and 10, for instance, you should have no issues wearing a sock size 9-11. Sock sizing is easy, if you know your shoe size, we can find you a sock. Men: For men who wear larger shoe sizes, we have a special collection of XL socks, also known as king size socks. If you are in between sizes we generally suggest you go up to the bigger size for maximum comfort. In the US, a numerical sock size is essentially how long your foot is in inches. Personally I have been in the socks business for almost 10 years and my rule is "if it looks good and goes with the outfit who cares what size it is wear it and enjoy it.
